What if Mrs. Ellen DeGeneres was finally given the late night talk show she deserves and she was free to really celebrate?! ( A Dance Piece )

I have wanted to do a tribute dance piece for Ellen DeGeneres for a long time, and the timing was finally right for a number of reasons; including being PO'ed when they did not come on bended knee to offer her Jay's job on The Tonight Show, when he left for a while. In my mind, only Ellen and Whoopi are the ones most deserving of this position. But the men's parade continues on late night T.V. and Womyn's voices continue to be relegated to the daytime only, where their massive talents are kept more contained. That was the final instigator for me to get started on this piece.

I also wanted to show Ellen's edgy and sexy sides as part of this piece, in addition to her joy and fun, because the former themes do not appear on daytime as often, due to needing to be family friendly at these times.

I used several of her own choreographic moves and credited her for them. I also put in her mock serious model moves and walk, along with some extra non- Ellen moves, and some traditionally stripper-like moves, along with my own moves, particularly at the end of this piece, because I must have my fun, and play with the words, "I'm Coming Out." This is of course the theme song I chose for her, since in my mind no one deserves this song more, than the first person ever to come out on T.V.!

This is a fun and joyous piece! I know your audience would love it!

This piece is 5 minutes and twenty seconds exactly.
