Ariel    Len    of    Zoey’s    Projects

Ariel Len Founded Zoey’s Projects to Create, Produce and Direct both Solo and Group Projects in Every Possible Arts Medium, and Combination of Arts Mediums, to Celebrate Womyn and People of all Diversities and Cultures, both Visible and Invisible.

Her Mandate is “Courage, Creativity and Diversity.” It is also to put an end to the categorizing, subcategorizing and all labelling of any Diverse Peoples, because She believes this stereotyping just increases the practice of Hate Crimes.

This, Her Plan, also includes putting an end to Discriminatory words like “DISabled.” She has Created a new respectful phrase “People of Diverse Abilities” to use in the interim, as She works towards ending the practice of stereotypical labelling.

Ariel Len’s Feature Length Documentary/Experimental Film, “I Ate the Hole Thing” premiered Internationally at GiRLFeST Hawaii, and was in the Industry Forums for both Hot Docs, and The Freun (Women’s) International Film Festival. Her film celebrated 36 Diverse Canadian Womyn in more than 6 languages, including American Sign Language. She has also Created, Directed, Produced, often shot, was the Artistic Editor for, and usually Performed in, (Acting, Dance and Other Movement Styles, Physical Comedy, Live Dance Painting and other Painting/Visual Art Styles, and Performance and Sound Wordscaping) more than 10 other films - both Short and Multi-Hour, Multi-Medium works.

Her newest project which is in Development, is to Create, Produce, Direct, and to be the Artistic Editor for, a new Feature Length Documentary Celebrating Inuit Canadian Womyn Throat Singers.

Ariel Len is one of Canada’s only Professional Dancers who has trained Herself to put down Her cane and Dance, both live and on film, all of the Works which She also Creates and Choreographs, and for which She also Selects and Edits the Music, Designs/Styles the Props and Costumes, and is the Artistic Editor of all Film footage shot of them.

She has also Invented a new way of combining both Dance and Painting, which She has logically named “Dance-Painting.” Ariel uses this method both to Perform Her Dancing Live, (without the paint, while wearing the 5 brushes and gas mask), and also to Create the huge painting (8 by 10 feet) “My Spirit Dance.”

Ariel Len will soon be using this abovementioned method to Create two new large scale Paintings, one of which will be a Tribute to Mrs. Ellen DeGeneres, and the second of which will be a Tribute to Ms. Marilyn Monroe. These two new works will be available for sale.

She has also created another large scale painting (15 by10 feet) using different physical methods called, “If Someday I Can’t Walk, then Damnit I’m Gonna Roll, Because I Will Always Rock!!!”

Ariel recently Created, Produced, Directed, and Performed in, “The BIG ASS Spring is Finally Here Show!!!!” which Celebrated about 40 Diverse Artists, through both Live Performances, and Multi-Medium on Screen Art Forms.

She has also Created many other Multi-Medium/Integrated Arts Projects and Visual Art Works, She Writes, and She does Live Performance Wordscaping.

Ariel Len has Invented both Wordscapes, (prose meets monologue meets poetry, and sometimes with soundscaping,) and a new Visually Artistic way of Illustrating these Wordscapes on the page. She has also written a multi-volume series of Books which includes 160 of Her Wordscapes, and about 70 Artistic Photographs which She designed, and for which She also posed. She has also designed underwear and t-shirts to go with this book.

She would like to find a Publisher interested in this new kind of work for publication.
